I know I haven't written a journal entry in a while, but I really could use some help. And not the whole "Not-the-voices!" help, but the "I'm-knee-high-in-dog-$#!%-and-have-no-way-out" help.

I’ve had such a weird couple of days…..it started yesterday really, I got online and I read these fanfiction stories and one of my favorite stories had just updated and it featured one of my favorite couples (Which was surprisingly gay because I’m not really crazy for a lot of the online gay couples in their stories, but anyways…). Well, right after I brought up that story I got on Oasis and saw the link to the gay marriage rights debate and I watched that. THEN “All Those Things She Said

I just realized today that I haven't written a journal entry in a while, so....Here I am! Ta da! *bows* Yeah, so while back my parents found out I'm gay. It was totally backwards then what I had pictured would have happened.
My dad is ex-military and I thought it would have been him who would blow up at me, but he was actually really good about it and told me he was here for me if I ever wanted to talk about it or if things got too tough.

I live in a small southern city that consists of a LOT of religious people and I understand that because of that almost everyone here doesn’t accept gay people, but it doesn’t mean that I like it. In fact, I absolutely despise and loathe the fact. People are constantly making fun of gay people and to insult someone they’ll call them gay or some derogatory term related to the subject. To them, being gay is like the absolute worst thing there is. I can’t stand it and it’s driving me crazy!

This is my first ever Journal entry, so forgive me if I make absolutely no sense and am an absolute bore. I'm not really absolutely sure why I'm writing this, but I guess I just had to get it all out. The fact is…I'm gay, I 15-year old Katty am gay. There I said it, the one thing I've been trying to suppress my whole life is now out in the open for everyone to see, well , at least as much as it’s going to get at the moment.
