I almost came out to my mom today... My sister was out sledding with some friends and my dad was at work, so it was just me and her. We were in the living room, reading, and I just got this feeling to tell her... but the moment passed, and I got too scared again :( I'm such a coward.

Okay... I recently switched schools, and made a bunch of new friends... and there's one in particular that I like... a LOT. (Let's call her Emma)

So Emma and I hit it off right away, becoming almost instant friends. We have a sort of intellectual friendship, and she says that before I came to the school, no one really understood her. I love spending time around her, and when I pass her in the hall, I literally cannot stop smiling...

My name is not Kristi. However, my middle name IS Kristine, so it's not that much of a stretch.

I use the family computer. My parents have no idea I like girls, and for the time being, I'd like to keep it that way. Until I come out to them, I will not use my real first name or any of my commonly used email addresses or social networking site usernames, in case they see it for whatever reason.

Okay. Next door to me live three kids. Two girls, one in fourth grade (Cynthia) and one in third grade (Mackenzie), and one six-year-old boy (Christian). They moved in about two years ago, and at first I was happy... more kids to babysit for! Then I realized that they were pure evil.
