Yes, I spent 25 straight hours awake. Not the highlight of my life...especially given how much of it was spent in the Atlanta airport. Good news is, I'm back at school, I managed not to sleep through any of my classes, and...and...I have some free time this week cause it's review for exams (which I don't study much for. :P). It's strangely good to be back.

Shopping

Went shopping today at some giant new mall in Bern..closest thing to an American mall I've seen in all of Europe. :) I was in a real shopping mood today, but I was there with both parents and my cousin, and my dad is never really in a shopping mood and my cousin wasn't getting anything, so I felt bad every time I dragged them into a store and they stood around.

So, my grandma and cousin got here this evening. Happy. :)
We're going shopping tomorrow morning and doing stuff at home for new year's in the evening...making raclette, etc.

And my parents apparently have a damn good gaydar, cause they had figured out I was lesbian or bi about the same time I did. Completely on intuition, according to my dad.

I really don't know why I'm talking like that, but whatever.

I came out to my parents!! They were cool with it, it turned into more of "the sex talk, part 2" than anything else, but we talked some about sexuality too. It was pretty awesome, cause now I'm not keeping that secret from them...and...well..I'm just happy!

So, I just finished writing a song. :) And I hadn't gotten to the point where all the lyrics and music came together for enough time to count as a whole song in quite a long time, so this is a big deal for me. Plus, this one actually makes sense and reflects me, unlike half the other crap I'd been thinking up.

My aunt and uncle are fantastic...and I need book advice.

I got a Barnes and Noble giftcard from them for Christmas, meaning I can order a book or 2 online that I might not want my parents/certain friends to see me getting...meaning queer-related stuff. :D Either fiction or non, what are some good books aimed at bisexual readers?

Hiatus--and a problem or two

Well, the hiatus is a problem too, but not the main one. I don't go on Oasis when I'm at school, because the school is able to monitor where we go on the internet, and although the tech people are awesome and amazing, I don't want my browsing habits to get me out. Also, my desk faces in such a way that anyone walking in my room, and my roommate pretty much all the time can see my screen.
