Well, this is my first post here, I just joined a few minutes ago, and I figure I'll tell everyone a little bit about myself.

I'm Lana, and I'm currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Humboldt State University. I'm bisexual but I prefer girls; I'm with a lovely esthetician named Jamie, and we've been together almost six months. Neither of us are out of the closet (it's been complicated going around behind our parents' backs).

I joined here to raise my confidence before coming out and plan for it. I have no reading at all how my parents would react...and I know I tend to work things up in my head and think too much, so hopefully talking to people who are in the same situation as I am will help me. I'm tired of lying to my parents, but at the same time I don't want to lose them.
