I just don't always read Chad's journals.
And I was completely inactive two weeks ago. Mostly preoccupied with my music and Gearslutz.

It's not the time as much as every journal becoming a huge degree of nested tangential comments. Like, when Chad logs in, he will wonder why he has 13 comments, only few of them have anything to do with his text. And someone else posts they are sad their cousin died, which leads to a discussion of the prison system without people first saying they're sorry for her loss, etc.
The tangent comment thing is always something that frustrates people on here. I don't know that I agree, but I do know it happens. So, I try and stay mindful about it.
