Even though it's quiet here this morning, I tossed and turned all night long. Poverty never lets you rest, the rumbling of my stomach and knowing I'll wake up to another day with no food is so overwhelming. In a country as rich as Canada it's almost impossible to believe one of it's own could experience these kinds of issues. It's not just your garden variety poverty either, it's the "I don't even have a box of Kraft Dinner" kind of poverty. It's the real deal. It's down and dirty poverty.

Sorry to hear that.
I see you've been here for two years, welcome back. Anyway, things can change for the better say if you're still in high school or wherever you may be at this point. If you are in high school, do your best in your classes and try and shoot for a scholarship and or grant to move onto college or university.
If you're out of school and may be in the workforce perhaps start seeing whether or not you may get a raise. Or if you're going nowhere in that job, look elsewhere and always make a great first impression in the interview. Be sure this new job would include health benefits. I'm sure there are many other ways you could get out of poverty.
Be sure to let us know how you're doing in your next journal.
