The Empire State,
someday I'll move there too. What a wonderful place that has been around for so long and a marvelous infrastructure! I know this is late, but what are things like there?
Well...
NYC will take quite a while to discover. I'm probably seeing less of it than I expected, since I'm in a neighborhood I wouldn't pick to live in as a vegan (Harlem is chains and soul food), and I'm working from home. So, no commute to work, and no exploring places near work to eat.
That will likely change when I get my own place in September (I'm in a furnished sublet now), and get to pick my own hood. Of course, costs might force me up into West Harlem again anyway, we shall see...
But I've been a theater nut since I got here, probably been to 50+ shows since February. That has been the primary focus.

I'm afraid of New York.
I had a dream that zombies took it over. I had to escape via giant sea turtle. (For some reason New York also flooded.) It was not pleasant. I'm never going back after that first trip, even though it was an imaginary one.
Nah...
NYC is lovely. Worth visiting. The hard part is leaving, so I eventually stopped.
