Jimi Hendrix was amazing. I knew "Castles Made of Sand" sounded peculiar, but I didn't know it would be that interesting. If you listen to it in reverse the guitar sounds normal. The instrumental parts also sound exactly the same backwards. This is awesome.

played lefty, when lefty guitars were not common. Plus, he figured they were better at making right-handed guitars, so he bought a righty-one, flipped the strings, and played it upside down. Kurt Cobain did the same thing in homage.

Playing backwards guitar parts was started by George Harrison of The Beatles. It was pretty risky stuff at the time.
