I really want to have a lucid dream. It seems really cool. Supposedly you can train yourself to have them but you need to keep a dream journal and stuff and remind yourself to perform regular reality checks, and I cann't bring myself to do that sort of stuff.
So I guess I'll have to make do with my regular, nonsensical dreams as of now.
Has anyone else had a lucid dream?

Hmm...
Welcome to Oasis! Or, if you're not a new user, perhaps reintroduce yourself? ;-)

The avatar provides no hint?
btw... Who was the Oasie (haven't seen him around for at least a year) for whom "meow" was sort of a frequent, signature comment?
Adam...
it isn't him.

Thanks! But you knew...
...that I knew that our "new" member wasn't Adam! Huh?
Well...
Of course, I know who it is... and you can too if you remember who started this forum: http://www.oasisjournals.com/2012/04/changing-username

Non sequitur?
I think there's a misplaced inference in there... some place.
But, let's just leave it: I'm in a great mood today! :)
Hmm...
At least you're resolving the non-issues you're surfacing, hehehe.

I've had a dream that I was aware of while I was in it.
Strangely, I couldn't control it. I guess I didn't think "this is a lucid dream, I should do anything I want!" I just sat back and did whatever my subconscious wanted me to, which was to kill zombie Jesus.
Yes, I am terriblyconfused,
Yes, I am terriblyconfused, but I'm not so terribly confused anymore. Which is why I thought the name was getting old.
Kiko, That is so cool. Even though dreams usually have something that's not quite right, in the dream one seems to accept every occurence as normal... I've never been able to realise that I've been dreaming.
Kill Zombie Jesus? Uh..
Well, sort of.
It was actually a bunch of zombie Jesuses (Jesi?). He kept multiplying, and every time I killed one, it would be dead for a while and stand right back up. The dream ended when I was trapped in a small room, surrounded by hundreds of them, and I had a huge sledgehammer. I was prepared to do some serious badassery when I woke up. But yeah, I was aware that it was a dream the whole time.
You must at least have a suspicion...
...for why these dreams aren't a tad more entertaining? :)
You have a badass
You have a badass subconscious.
