Today, I went shopping with a friend of mine who I haven't hanged out with in a long time. We were originally going to see Bully but the tickets were expensive so instead we decided to visit Long Beach.

It was so hot and then it got windy. I think it's cause we were close to the beach. There were some people protesting by the downtown area about god or something. There was also like a race nascar thing going on so some streets were closed.

What we usually do is take a bus to 4th street, which is a street where there are lots of vintage stuff and books and art and little neat items. I didn't get any clothes this time but I did buy a book on F. Scott FItzgerald and also I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. I also bought Apocalypse Now and A Streetcar Named Desire and a box set of Monty Python's Flying Circuse all for 4 dollars! Then I got An American Tragedy for 3 dollars but the nice lady gave it to me for 2 dollars!

Then we go eat at Wingstop and it was so spicy! But totally good! Then we go to a dollar bookstore by the beach. I got two Time magazine books on events from the 40s and something about the millenium and a book on digital photography. We also took alot of silly photos and bought candy.

It was a really fun day and now I'm tired and have to go to school tomorrow. Yuck. P.s., how was your day?
