When it came out in 1999 I was didn't pay attention to the televison and coincidently I never saw the trailer and never saw the movie when it was released.
There are two noticeable biblical references, such as the last human city in existence was named Zion. And the spaceship's name was the Nebuchadnezzer.
Yeah, never seen that movie. People gasp in shock whenever I say that, but I'm just not into action movies. Watching it just for the sake of watching it couldn't hurt though. Maybe I'll give it a try.
I shouldn't see movies that most people love. I usually end up hating them, like with The Godfather. The only part of that movie that I liked was the irony of the one guy's death.
The Matrix was good, though.
