Your best decisions will be made only after you've started studies and mingled with others (many like you) who are also looking for direction...
If you delay college, you've got to come up with a much better reason!

overthink it. Unless you're doing medicine or law, most majors are plug and play. Also, what you major in often has little impact on your future career. I've been at Fortune 500 software companies where VP of Marketings were French Lit majors, etc.
