So anyway, I bought this tie at the thrift. Very nice and in very good condition considering where it ended up. It's a dark red tie with a little sewn-in bust of the infamous Mao Zedong. The tie also has a small sewing of the great wall under his bust. It's really nice in a sense, but what it represents? I'm at a loss. What would it say about me? Lol
Probably nothing, other than it speaking that Mao Zedong was great or something like that. Even though he was an awful dictator. What with his Cultural Retardation and The Great Leap Backward. But I still like how everything looks on the tie, although it probably makes me look more Hipster than Communist. Really with the right combination of clothing it's a nice novelty.

Mao Zedong...we discussed him in History last year, but my memory fails me. Wasn't he the communist ruler of China during World War I?
Yes,
he was. And he was the found of the CPC (Communist Party of China).
