Tho that's pretty well it.
There's a guy that, well, he's a year younger than me, an incoming frosh this year, and I've met him through several friends and outings, and he wanted help with swimming, so we went to the y, and I taught him swimming things, and then we lunched, and then came to my house, and... played a buncha guitar hero.
That's pretty well all I did today, although I think I have a new favorite band, St. Vincent. I've never really had a favorite band before, just a lot I liked, although for a long time Afro Celtic Sound System has probably been the best contender...
But my brother, when leaving for camp, left me a ton of music in the form of hundreds of cds, and an ipod filled with the stuff too.
He took his itunes, on his laptop, that had all the music that he used to make all the cds and ipod, plus a lot more, but that's fine.
When I get a car I'll be glad to have all these cd's.
Yesterday was my 5 month mark, on the trek from permitland to licenseland! (i.e. 15 to 16)
My mom comes back home tomorrow. Me and my dad go to Seattle (hopefully with me driving the stick shift car!) to watch the soccer game, then pick her up afterwards, leaving my bro in Philly to deal with college on his own. Then I have another. fucking. week. here at the house, with the only change being that my mom is here to yell at me this time, before school finally starts.
I actually really can't wait for it to start now. Now that camp and vacationing and even swimming and all the fun parts of summer are done, I'd much rather be back at school and seeing all my friends again.
But school don't start till Sept. 6.
I guess that's why we end so much later than everyone else in the summer.
Anyway, talking about swimming, that thing I did with hot guy swimming this morning was the first real time I've been in a pool for 24 days, which, for me, is a long time. I only realized today how much I missed it.
Ooh!, one more thing, have any of you seen the movie Kaboom?
Great movie. I saw it under the "horror and sci-fi" category on On Demand, really looking for a horror movie, but then I saw it and it looked interesting, partly because it said the main character was a bisexual art student, and, as I soon found out, quite delicious.
I could imagine that being quite literally exactly me in 5 years, if a little less delicious.
And with a little research I found it won the first ever "Queer Palm" at the Cannes Film Festival.
Tons and tons of sex in that movie. Some straight, some hot gay sex, some hot lesbian sex, good for everyone.
Anyway, I hope no one wasted their time reading these confused ramblings of a stupid little boy, but whatevs.
