So the last two days were amazing. Like. Damn.
Andum. I realized something.
Haha.
I'll try to keep it brief though.
So I went to see the Pilobolus show (which featured OK Go in one of it's acts) in NYC a couple of days ago. It was, in a word, fantastic. I loved it.
And then I got to meet with most of OK Go afterwards as well. I still haven't met Andy Ross. But Tim and Damian remembered me from Boston with the phone. (They were like "we've met before right?") and I met Dan. And I met Damian's sister Trish Sie as well, which was really lucky. She's incredibly talented. She choreographed a lot of their videos. (The treadmill video? The dog video? All her. As well as A Million Ways and the upcoming video for "All is Not Lost" which the dance they preformed was based on. She's done a bunch of other stuff too but I'm only familiar with her OK Go related work really. XD;)
I'm kind of hoping that somehow their creative talents magically rubbed off on me by talking with them for the short time I did. XD
So yeah. Teal was there too of course and he was gleeful, to say the least. :] I ended up spending the night at his place because his mom was like "I don't wanna just leave you at Grand Central Station" and also because I don't see him often enough.
And then the next day we made pancakes and chilled. It was nice. I wish we could do that more often... Just make pancakes and chill... There pancakes are optional though. XD
So I realized that I don't really have a romantic attraction to him anymore. Like. I was kindof expecting it to be there and it wasn't. XD This is a good thing. (Although to be fair I stopped caring either way a while back) I just think it's funny that this stuff can happen without me realizing it.
Adsdakljsd I still miss him though. I wish I had a magical door that just opened up to his house from mine. That would be the best.
Yeahyeah I know I said brief. This is brief for me alright? Especially considering the amount of awesomeness I haven't even begun to cover. So hush. :P
Comments
Hmm....
If this is brief, guess you're not going on Twitter anytime soon ;-)

clicked on the dog video
clicked on the dog video because i click on anything that promises puppies. I feel like i might just have to change my taste in music just so that I can be an Ok Go fan because PUPPIES.
good to hear about such an awesome time.
((hey you do you know somebody named Annie from UU cons?))
Haha, OK Go lies just
Haha, OK Go lies just outside of my normal musical taste actually. Not too far removed, but if it weren't for Teal's contagious obsessiveness I would've just glanced over them.
You have me curious now though, what kind of music do you normally listen to? I don't really understand how I don't know this already. XD;
((And no I don't. Do you know what district they're from? I've also only been going to cons since the end of last year so... Yeah.)
i like really acousticy
i like really acousticy stuff- examples including Girlyman, Chris Pureka, Emily Haines, Missy Higgins
also, country. Coyote Grace and indie country like them, but also Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Trace Atkins country, like when I turn on the radio it's country radio almost exclusively.
A little bit of classic stuff- Elvis Costello and the like.
alt folk like Bright Eyes, the Mountain Goats (THE FUCKING MOUNTAIN GOATS).
Amanda Palmer, whatever category you put her into.
And every once in a while, some alt punk- Rise Against, Dispatch
OHANDALSO sometimes I get on a kick where I only listen to Kanye West and Nikki Minaj.
((She's from... well, around here. Philly area. I don't know what that means district wise.))
Yeahwow. I like acoustic
Yeahwow. I like acoustic stuff if I'm in the mood for it... But it's not what I normally listen to (And when I do, it's often . Haha. Of all of those artists you listed, I've probably only listened to Elvis Costello, Amanda Palmer (Duh), and Rise Against. Haha.
Most of my friends hattteeee country music though. I don't mind it, but I don't ever go out of my way to listen to it either. *shrugs*
Amanda Palmer kinda has her own category. XD
((Andyeah, she wouldn't be going to our cons. Northern New England has a district, which includes NH, VT, and ME. And Mass Bay has a district, which is just the area near Boston. And those are the cons I go to. I don't think I've heard of people even coming up from CT let alone Philly area. ))
