Oh my God!

I have to admit, I didn't realize before just now reading the Wikipedia page that Borat was almost completely unscripted and done with actual people who like, weren't actors.
Fucking damn, am I idiotic?
I need to watch it again now, when I get home that's high on my to do list.

hehehe....

Well, Borat's role was highly scripted. No one else knew they were in a comedy sketch and not a documentary, though.

Wikipedia is not a reliable

Wikipedia is not a reliable source, actually...

Umm...

What reference site has more knowledgable information about the filming of Borat, exactly?!

I've been told by many

I've been told by many people that any person can go to Wikipedia and write whatever they want about anything. And if that's true, than Wiki doesn't seem to reliable to me. But maybe I've been misinformed?

Well...

That's an overly simplistic view of it. It isn't that easy. Can you edit it? Sure. Will anything untrue you write stay there? Unlikely.

"People of all ages, cultures and backgrounds can add or edit article prose, references, images and other media here. What is contributed is more important than the expertise or qualifications of the contributor. What will remain depends upon whether it fits within Wikipedia's policies, including being verifiable against a published reliable source, so excluding editors' opinions and beliefs and unreviewed research, and is free of copyright restrictions and contentious material about living people. Contributions cannot damage Wikipedia because the software allows easy reversal of mistakes and many experienced editors are watching to help and ensure that edits are cumulative improvements."

Wait...

You're being sarcastic, right?

Did anyone see the other one... Bruno? I didn't mind Borat, but I couldn't make it through the entirety of Bruno.
