Things I learned from this week:
1) Just because people like you and like being around you does not mean you are a good friend.
2) Acknowledging your shortcomings is a really stupid thing to do unless you are prepared to work on correcting them.
3) I'm more mature in ways I don't want to be, and less mature in ways that I do.
4) I should really sleep more and think less.
5) I can't even remember when I stopped caring how much I hurt my dad's feelings.
6) You can use awkwardness as a tool to make others uncomfortable. You probably shouldn't, though.
7) Being able to hurt others doesn't improve your ability to protect yourself.
Not all of these thoughts are new; some have just been rolling around in my head.
Tomorrow will be much better.

Hmm...
2. It is the first step, no?
3. I think that's normal. Or I'm fucked up, too?
4. They go together.
5. Err, why is that? Why not stop?
6. I use awkwardness to make others laugh.
7. It probably means you feel you need to protect/hide something.

Yeah,
2) Yeah, but you shouldn't open a can of paint unless you are ready to paint. Otherwise it will be hard to start when you are ready. Jee wiz, paint metaphors are awesome.
3) It's probably a little bit true for everybody. Growing up sucks balls.
4) It took me, like, four minutes to figure out what you meant. It's like I get a little dumber every minute I'm out of school.
6) My awkwardness makes others laugh too, although seldom on purpose.
7) Right now, pretty much everything.
uhh...
And 5?
