Hello all. It's been ALMOST four months since I last visited this site. Needless to say, a lot has happened.
In sort-of order, I'll give you a quick rundown on my life so far.
In mid-April, I had a cyst removed from my wrist. I had this cyst for a while before anyone decided it was probably a bad idea to let it stay there and possibly keep growing. Oh, here are some pictures of the cyst/removal.

I probably never told you, but my younger brother, Jagger, was born with six toes on each foot, with some webbing. He had a procedure to remove them... I don't remember when. But April 26th, we got a first look at how they were healing. I won't show you the pictures from that day, because they looked pretty foul, considering they couldn't take certain parts of the bandage off. These parts were caked with blood and the bandages turned black, so it looks like his toes were falling off. But now he has five mostly-normal looking toes. It's really neat, and now he'll be able to wear normal shoes, before we could only buy very wide shoes that were like three sizes too big for his feet because the extra toe needed the space.
That same day, my mother gave birth to my baby brother, Talon Jack. I gotta tell you guys, I love this kid so much. I've taken OVER 9000 pictures of him. He's two months old now. He's such a sweet, happy little boy. He's very quiet most of the time, and in general he's a very very easy child to handle. He was born 8 pounds, 11 ounces. Still not as big as his big brother! He now weighs a little over 11 pounds.
This was our very first look at him: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm36/Lyexsah/Photo0729.jpg
There was a while where we were very scared. He had jaundice and it wasn't getting better. But now he's healthy as can be.
This is him yesterday: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm36/Lyexsah/Photo0838.jpg
On May 9th, I turned 18. Legal adult. Yay. Or something.
On May 26th, I graduated. Also a yay.
Last monday I had student orientation up at Utah State. I am signed up for all of my classes, and I'm taking 16 credit hours. I can't wait to move up there. I'm excited. And I'm bored with summer.
And as far as life outside the major events... Well I'm missing Bai. A lot.
Sometime right before graduation, I started flirting with this guy in my Russian class. Asked him out. He didn't give me a direct answer. I hung out with him a lot during the last couple weeks of school.
Got to hang with him during the senior all-night party, which I had won a free ticket to. But I mostly spent time kicking ass at DDR. I think I really pissed off these two korean kids who had been playing.
I didn't hear for him for like two weeks after graduation. The he showed up on facebook, so he and I chatted. My friend Linda decided that I and this guy would go on a double date with her and her boyfriend. It went great. We saw the new Pirates movie, which was great. He was great. But again, he's been MIA. He needs to get a cell phone. XD

That's redick!
Hey!
My cyst was probably first. :<
I'd had mine for a little over four years before I was like "Hey, I should probably get this removed, haha."
I had a ganglion cyst, which formed from repeated damage to my tendons at my wrist.

So
yeah, like how much of a hassle was it to get that cyst removed, cause I have one I've been intending to get rid of, and probably will do so this new school year, in like October or something...

Oh, don't sweat it.
All cysts aren't always as easy as this one was, but this one was very easy. They didn't put me under, or anything like that. I wasn't even in an actual procedure room, I was just in a regular ol' doctor's room with just those leather beds or whatever.
I came in that morning to get it checked out, and the doctor just told us to come in right at the end of her day and she'd take it out, no problem.
Apparently, my cyst was actually quite large. I had compound cysts that had formed, burst, then reformed, I think there was three in total. Two very small ones, then one very thick, large one.
I can't remember exactly how long it was, but I think it was something like an hour and a half or two hours, including waiting for the numbing to sink in and putting in the stitches. It was also very painless, I only felt a little bit of awkward pressure when she was pulling on the cyst. The numbing did it's job very well.
Really, though, the difficulty of a cyst would just depend entirely on the location and size of it. My mom had an ovarian cyst(which you wouldn't have to worry about, LOL) and she was in the hospital for three days, I think.
