Pleasantly Suprised

So I was really happy to see Boyfriend today :)

I guess I did miss him a lot :P And he was so sore from carrying his Tuba around, but he let me push on his chest even though it hurt him XD

He told me my hair looked really great, and that I looked really nice today :) And he kept stroking my face with his hand, and kissing me on the cheek. It was... Really nice. I did miss that.

So I texted him and sort of talked to him about how I was feeling and stuff, and he DIDN'T GET MAD AND DEFENSIVE! o.o
Which means I'm super proud of him. Very super proud of him. I mean that may sound normal to you guys, but that's a huge leap for him.

I mean, I was talking to RadioSilence earlier cause she's a beast, and I was trying to explain about him.

You guys must all think he's some huge douche... But he's really not. He's got a few big, gigantic flaws. But all people do! Every single person you're going to date is going to have something that you won't agree with, or it'll bother you, or something. But Boyfriend just has a bit of an emotional problem- and that's it. He's stubborn and doesn't like to be told what to do, or to express his emotions too much.

But I'm proud of him for trying for me- He's getting better.

I'm really worried about us talking tomorrow though. I hope things go okay.

It's not like I have an official definition,

But from my understanding, it's where you post "Warning: Spiders in this post" or something before your whole thing, so that people who are bothered by whatever you're writing about can leave.

Which I don't think is even necesarry, if someone starts reading and sees that it's about spiders, which will probably take two seconds, then they can leave. It's not like I'm making them stay to read my entiiiiiiiiire post, even it's amazingly written and causes them to jizz in their pants.

I mean, I'm not jumping through hoops for other people's rare, personal anxieties. I don't see why I should.

Uhh...

No one's going to warn you they're posting something happy. That's a pretty ridiculous expectation.

If everyone has to be miserable for you to be content, then I'd rather everyone be happy and you be miserable, as opposed to the other way around.

...I'm not even sure if that is a Spock original. Certainly he made it famous, and I think he was quoting someone, but was he quoting Vulcan philosophy or some pre-Star-Trek Earth source?

I think trigger warnings are rediculously stupid. I would have to post a bajillion warnings saying everything that could possibly offend or upset any person ever.

You're an individual- If you really get this upset about it, then please just move on once you start reading. I don't MAKE you sit and read the whole thing.

By the way, "There goes another sleepless night" means that you missed one.
However, "Here COMES another sleepless night" entitles that you're going to have one.
