Is anybody else getting really tired of turning on the TV and hearing about the royal wedding with Prince William and that Kate lady? I don't see the big deal, and that's not because I'm an ignorant American. The royal family doesn't even have any political power. They just have lots of money and servants. They'll probably just get divorced within 4 months anyway. So, yeah. I just don't see why every news broadcast or talk show in America is fussing over it. ANNOYING.
So, what's your favorite cereal? Mine is Cinammon Toast Crunch. Yummy.

I like Lucky Puffs!
It's where you mix cocoa puffs and lucky charms :)
But my favorite single cereal I guess is like, Honeycombs or whatever that's called? They're yummy. But I don't eat cereal often so I can't say.

Cocoa puffs and lucky charms
Cocoa puffs and lucky charms together in perfect harmony? That sounds positively delicious. I'm gonna try that some time.

THIS omg
and um they have *symbolic power* apparently
and british royals have their faces on my money
otherwise i'm just like why does anyone care
then again i'm not from the uk
I guess the british royal
I guess the british royal family is comparable to Oprah. They both have shitloads of money and people worship them, but they don't really DO anything. I guess that the royal family USE to have real political power, but that was decades and decades ago.
I dunno. Can one of our british Oasians please explain all of this to me?
OMFG
CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH! FUCK YEAHHHH! I also like Reese's Pieces and Frosted Flakes.
I haven't paid much attention to the royal wedding stuff.
....
Cinnamon Toast Crunch makes me wanna write in all caps too! YEAH! :P
Those two cereals are also tasty. I also enjoy a bowl of Apple Jacks.
I know, it doesn't really matter. The wedding.
I was talking to a British person who was like, 'You realise that Americans take the wedding much more seriously than we do. I care more about Glee than I do about Prince Weird-Looking marrying Random Lady.'
Which pretty much sums it up.
I like Life Cereal, especially when it's mixed with Frosted Mini-Wheats and really, really soggy. Like, more milk than cereal and left there for half an hour.
Wow.woW
That's really weird how we
That's really weird how we Americans care more about the royal wedding than the british. That just proves how dumb we are XD
Soggy cereal? But then it's all mushy and junk. You have a very interesting cereal preference.
About the royal wedding
Yeah, I don't care. It's a wedding that doesn't even involve immensely attractive people, that people care about it because there's a guy involved that's famous, not for any actual reason or because he's ever actually done anything important, but because he just happens to have ancestors who were douchebags who sat in little offices then signed off on the deaths of millions of little brown people and then told the poor people they were phisiologically inferior to the rich because they had no money, and then a girl who's not even attractive.
Big deal, happens millions of times a year. I still haven't got any, nothing's changed.
As you can see, I've never liked rich British people.
My favorite cereal is frosted mini wheats because they're all good.

I don't even like rich American people. The only person in the royal family who I thought was decent was Princess Diana because she was a bit of a philanthropist, giving money to charity and stuff. But she married into the family, so she may or may not count.
It's not just the royal family that irks me. It's every super rich family of celebrities who get put in the spotlight when they break a nail or get a cold, and there are other intelligent people out there doing really good charitable things and nobody cares about them. *Frustration*

Mini wheats? Hmm. I heard
Mini wheats? Hmm. I heard that those taste like cardboard. But what the hell do I know?
Without the frosting they do... :P

Yeah
I agree, I think weddings should be a bit more personal and less media. Anyways, I like frosted flakes but they're pure sugar, so multigrain cheerios.
Smile :)
Forget peoples rude remarks
Those people are just jealous of your awesomeness!!!!
Agreed. I would hate for my
Agreed. I would hate for my wedding to be televised live around the whole world.
Mmmmm...Cheerios. I am more of a Frosted Cheerios girl.

HEY
Well im here in London at the moment and actually even though you say the royals don't do anything they actually do a lot of charity work such as the Princes trust. Also with all the scandal of British politics - were nearly all our politicians are greedy and Arrogant, the wedding was symbolic in uniting everybody together which really the country needed. Some much stupid and disappointing factors have happened in parliament at the moment, so it was good for the public to get excited about something. Though the newspaper were having a field day when she first got engaged as she does not have any royal blood in here, some were calling her the commoner. but anyway did you not see her dress! i mean it was by Sarah Burton ( working at Alexander McQueen ) it was WAY better then what i imaged she would have got
Ah, thank you for explaining
Ah, thank you for explaining all of this to me. Sorry if my journal offended you in any way. I mean, I know it's important where you are. I just don't get why Americans are going crazy about it. It's EVERYWHERE in the media over here, so I can't imagine how insane the media is over there.
I also don't get why people are lableing Kate a commoner. Her parents, from what I've heard, are extremely wealthy and they sent her to one of the most exclusive colleges in the country, which I think is where she met William. And that makes her a commoner...?
Weddingness
I'm from England. And I wasn't really excited about the wedding. My grandparents were, but not really anyone else in my family. I didn't even watch it on the telly.
But it is stupid because there was people camping on the street from like Tuesday night just to see it. But most of them seemed from America or Canada or China. I don't get why other countries care so much. I mean I can understand why some British people are excited. But I know I wouldn't care if someone royals in some other country were getting married.
And to be honest I don't really get what the fuss is. They are like grandchildren of the Queen. Prince William won't be King for ages so it's like what's the point!
But there you go. Whatever floats your boat.
OMG!
You said telly! :'D That is so cool XP
