GUITARGUITARGUITARGUITAR

Okayso, I got a new guitar, and I named her Dayna, why? Because I like the spelling. I really didn't put much more thought into it than that, which is weird for me, but a good thing. Haha.

And she's sososo gorgeous, and sounds sososo much nicer than my old guitar (which is junior sized and much quieter and and more twangy/bright sounding) and akdajkldfdkljsf. Just. So pretty. My old guitar is a bright orangey yellowey brown color and kinda cute, but Dayna is this really dark brown... And gorgeouusss...

You know what? I'll show you.

The little one is my old guitar, and the other one is Dayna. Behind it is a really cheap keyboard and behind -that- is the portfolio envelope that my cat peed on that one time... And behind -that- is the cable that connects my computer to the internet. Everything that you're reading here had to go through that cable first before it got to you.

So yeah. I feel like having a new guitar means learning to play some new songs. I definitely am going to learn some Pink Floyd songs (duhness. I don't know why I don't know any already. I'm actually pretty ashamed of this.) and probably some Against Me! songs because Against Me! is like, the unofficial official band of cons or something. Haha.

Butyeah. Any ideas for songs I should learn? Requests? If you ask super-duper nicely I might even record myself playing a song and put it on youtube. XD; Maybe even singing it if I somehow manage some kind of confidence in my singing ability. :P

There are so many songs I

There are so many songs I like, I really can't think of a request right now. I could name you some really cool bands, but I'm not sure we would like the same bands. Anyway, that guitar is niiiicceee

You might as well throw some

You might as well throw some names my way, worst comes to worst I don't like them. Haha. :P

I just never know what songs I should learn... And then I go to conferences and such and people request a buncha songs that I don't know. XD;

Okay I've got a list now

- "Fully Alive (Acoustic Version)" by Flyleaf
- "1979" by Smashing Pumpkins
- "Broken" by Seether
- "Nutshell" by Alice In Chains
- "Everlong (Acoustic Version)" by Foo Fighters
- "Running Blind" by Godsmack
- "So Long, Goodbye" by 10 Years
And, the most basic song of them all, "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple. But I'm sure you already know how to play that one.

Just throwing stuff out there.
