Finally I got sometime to post a journal to introduce myself today.

Hello everyone, my name is Donnie, I'm 21, living in Texas, currently in college. I'm new to this site. I was born and raised in an Asian families, and I'm gay, still in the closet. No one knows who I really am but some of my gay friends(actually i don't really have heart-to-heart gay friends, they are more like hook up buddies). Yes my life is tough, I have to pretend to be straight in front of my friends and families, like pretend to be someone that I'm not. My parents are very old fashioned, very traditional, I know that they won't accept who I am. I have no siblings, I'm the only kid in my family. So this is pretty much something about me.

I can definitely relate to a lot of what you say--about being closeted and seen as someone who you arent not who you are.

Welcome to Oasis, good sir! I do hope we'll get to know one another better!

Yeah, I'm not fully out either. Only some of my closest friends know. My family would hate me, because they're extremely religious and they think I'll burn in hell or something. So I'm mostly in the closet as well.

Welcome to Oasis. :) I'm glad you found this site where you can be more true to who you are, as it sounds like isolation or silence at least is a large part of what you've been through/are going through. Anyway- welcome once again.
