I had a lovely day today except for a small side order of seething white-hot rage graciously given to me by, of course, Mrs. History Teacher. (Who else!?) Why was today so great? Well...
FCG: Hey, Super Duck?
FCG: Would you be willing to do me a favor?
Me: Of course! What is it?
FCG: ...Play with my hair?
She NEVER asks me to do it! Usually if I touch her hair, it's because I asked if I could. But today she asked me to! And it wasn't even because IG didn't want to do it! IG did it later after my arm got tired. But I had FCG and her amazing hair all to myself. I talked to her for a little while completely uninterrupted by IG since she was busy talking to British Girl. It made this uber slow week totally worth it.
Me: ((gently runs fingers through FCG's hair)) I love your hair. I also may be slightly obsessed with the texture of it. It's amazing.
FCG: Haha, aww, thank you, Super Duck!
Me: Ahhh, I know that probably makes me weird, but oh well! ((continues to stroke FCG's hair))
FCG: No, I don't think you're weird at all!
<3 FCG. I wonder if she'd be okay with it if I just randomly touched her hair every day.
Also, my chemistry teacher also managed to go an entire day without pissing me off. It's a new record! My economics teacher did, however, piss me off, though, and he's usually cool, so that was disappointing. But speaking of economics, I sit by this super quiet senior girl who drives the same kind of car as me, except hers is a different color. She's so cute and proper and sophisticated. She is sooooo shy, though, but I've managed to have a few short conversations with her in the past few days! She's really nice. She said also hated Mrs. History Teacher when she had her last year and chose to rebel by sleeping every day. I almost can't even imagine that. Hahaha.
So, why was I mad? Well, I got my term paper back today. I get a grade for it in two classes: English and history. In English, I made a pretty high A. I just forgot a couple of commas and didn't put some guys' first names. In history, I made a B+. That's not the rage-inducing part, except for the fact that Mrs. History Teacher marked this one thing wrong when she told me to include it. The rage-inducing part is that this one guy in history class turned in HALF A PAPER and still got a B. Well, a B-, but still! I spent an entire day on that shit, and this guy comes along and turns in some half-assed thing that doesn't even come close to meeting the length requirements and gets only 6 points lower than me. The English teacher counted off like, 20 points for him not meeting the length requirements, but the history teacher didn't even do anything! What the fuck!? Mrs. History Teacher is always giving this guy special treatment, even though he sucks at her class. He gets special treatment from all the teachers (but especially her) since his parents are rich, and it fucking pisses everybody off. If I had turned in half a paper to Mrs. History Teacher, I bet you $100 she would've just thrown it away and given me an F, but Mr. Rich Boy here can do whatever the hell he wants because his parents give the school a big, fat donation every so often. It has always been like this. He's very, very violent and is constantly hitting people, but he never gets detention. He also never does his work, but some teachers give him extra days to do it even if he "was just too tired." I've NEVER gotten an extra day, not even if I missed a day because I was sick.
Oh, and Mr. Economics Teacher got mad at this one girl for being late since she was cleaning up in the art room. His response to her? "Well, don't be late again because my class is more important than stupid art since it's an actual academic class."
"Stupid art"? RAAAAGE.
