Theater Family Dynamics

The Bookworm's picture

I had a good day. Really great conversations with both my director/acting teacher and Wren's older brother. We talked about God. It was good. We also talked about how theater family dynamics would make for a soap opera. Family dynamics: We determined that Hannah is my cast mother, Tommy my father, Wren's brother my crazy uncle. Hannah is currently madly crushing on Wren's brother (he doesn't know this), which I'm not sure what to do about, so I figure I'll just stay out of it, and Tommy is impressively in love with his girlfriend, and had the bad timing to bring it up while Hannah was recovering from a partially crush-spawned panic attack (we were preforming a midsummer night's dream). Hannah got this horribly sad look on her face, so I turned to her and said "How happy some or other some can be" and she smiled and it was good. These people are incredibly important to me...anyway.
I've been listening to a lot of Bo Burnham lately. Good stuff. thought you might appreciate this one, entitled "My Whole Family Thinks I'm Gay"
