We have a day off today because it snowed! It's all melted by now but it just started snowing again and it's not sticking to the pavement, but the trees and roofs are covered. Of course, half an inch around here and everything closes down, so pretty much, it was a snow day without snow. I woke up totally expecting to go to school this morning but it was around 4:00 in the morning, and there was snow in the streets, so they canceled school. And then when I finally woke up I made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast and sat in my windowseat, playing Death Cab for Cutie songs on my guitar.

Last night I spent all evening and afternoon out at the Scholastic Art Awards ceremony, and didn't do any homework, so it was really conveient we have no school. I've just been sitting around all day listening to Iron & Wine and doing math.

Oh, but back to the awards. I got there and found some of my classmates, and wound up making small talk with the girl in the seat to my left, while trying not to stare at the cute girl the row behind me. She had a mohawk but it wasn't spiked but it still looked good. I din't get the chance to introduce myself, but apparently we have a mutual friend on Facebook. Small world.

I have to go to the gym now for pole vault practice. The heater deosn't work though. Ugh, it's going to be so fucking cold in there. Later.

OMG, you guys, my friend Raccoon finally asked me to smoke with him. It's rather pathetic, but I'm legitimately excited.
