First off, I have to ask
What are YOUR dreams? What do you want to be when you grow up?
Think about it really hard.
At a young age, we all answer the stereotypical sort of "Firemen/woman!" "Teacher!" "Zookeeper!" "Astronaut!" "President!" sort of jobs (By the way, if I missed yours when you were little, please tell me ;) )
But as we grow older, we realize- Holy shit, there is so much I could do, would do, would LIKE to do.
There are an infinite amount of paths we can partake down, HAVE gone down already.
Think about your journey so far-
Are you happy with the progress?
And are you going to be happy with where you're going?
If not, WHY not?
Some of us are the sort of people who drift along life's current, happy, unnoticing, unthinking. These are probably the most popular people. Then there are people who drown in the current of life, bashing into rocks and going headfirst down a waterfall.
Those are popular, too.
Some try to swim upstream, trying to revisit a part of life they miss, and no matter how hard they paddle and stroke and claw their way, they end up drifting downstream anyways, missing most of their adventure lost in their quest.
But some people charge down the river, always looking ahead, savoring the water's icy grip, and they triumph.
What are you?
I've been thinking a lot about my future. I definitely know where I want to go in life- In fact, here, I want you to listen.

(Okay, Youtube embedder thing isn't working at all lately. Wtf is up with that?)
The quality of the video is only okay.
But... That is my favorite game to date. And that is all the music in it. It gives me goosebumps.
I someday want to play music for the games I love- Or games I might love in the future. I've said it alot, but I'll say it again!
That will be me someday!
Anyways... Ah, sorry, that journal got a little dramatic. It's almost the end of break and I'm pissed because I don't like school so much this year.
Lunch is lonely and boring.
Plus, I hate getting up early. I'd go to school later if I could just get up later.
School is lonely, lonely, lonely.
Which, when you're surrounded by people, doesn't make much sense.

when i was little, i wanted
when i was little, i wanted to be either an entomologist (because i liked bugs and big words) or a cowgirl.
At this point... I'd like to go into diplomacy. international politics in some form. ...or a cowgirl.
UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII BABY
I kind of want to be a marine biologist now. That could mean living in Hawaii, and I love water, and islands. It could also take me to Japan...
Speaking of Japan I think it would also be pretty dang awesome to work for Nintendo. Not as a game designer though, I was looking at their job openings and there's some for a translator from English --> Japanese and vice versa. Which would be cool at least for a little bit.
When I was little I wanted to be a nurse, and then I found out that you have to be around blood, and then I wanted to be a zookeeper or a dog or cat. Something animal-y.
