Super duck is GREAT. She's so funny and she's always there for me. I really hope she gets with FCG and they make sweet...

Anyways, she's my best friend ever and I always thought of her as some epic celebrity when I joined. Silly, right? I hope she doesn't think this is creepy. Anyways, now we're really good friends and I have nooo idea what I'd do without her and her epicness, to be honest XD

I have a real-life best
I have a real-life best friend. She's been my best friend since fourth grade and she has supported me throughout almost all of the problems in my life so far. (except for the transness because I haven't told her quite yet, I think she knows though, just like my dad knew. I just have to talk it out with her and hope she accepts a guy or a non-gendered person as a best friend instead of a girl, I'm sure she will. I love her and she loves me, for good and bad. Lol, it sounds like we're married, XD)
She's a really sweet and kind person whose been through a lot of tough times but still has the strength to keep on and support other people through THEIR problems. She's going to have a baby soon and she's getting married soon as well and I hope to support HER this time through all the hard times (and good times) she's sure to go through in marriage and in motherhood. She's declared me the baby's Aunt and I'm sure someday that'll change to Uncle. So the baby will have a gender-variant Aunt/Uncle and a very good mother. (*begrudgingly* and father...) :) Anyway she's my favorite person.

and hey, I think of myself as being related to my best friends or married in a way. Because I'd pretty much go through Hell and back for them if I had to :)

Okay, Shelby- Even though you are a little b•itchy sometimes, I like that you will always say what you're thinking and aren't afraid to argue.
Eli- You are the person that I've had what is probably the longest conversation of my life without annoying anyone with! Over a month and a half of everyday pm's. You also make me laugh really hard, and give all the smileys something to do.
MacAvity- The author of what are probably my favorite posts/journals. I 'ditto' your comments probably far too much, and it always makes me happy to think that 'even if nobody else does, I know MacAvity will read this!'
Super Duck- You are so entertaining... XD
Riku- I barely know you! Yet you introduced me to vegan marshmallows and I'm eternally grateful! GO, YOU!
lonewolf678- You have such nice- scratch that, beautiful things in your journals. They make people think and generally leave me a bit more at peace. As well as a lot of 'something of interest's, which I have only seen like 2 of thanks to the dsi, but it's still great that you share!
lamb_da- You're extremely entertaining, as well as tolerant enough to put up with my babbling about lollipops!

epicfailure- I missed you :) I am unsure exactly what, but there is something I find immensely enjoyable about reading your journals. You were also the author of the first journal I ever read, interestingly... it was about you and your friend finding chocolate-smelling flowers and getting hyper from sniffing them too much XD

The best friend I have outside of Oasis right now is Regi. We've been friends since kindergarten, and it's fairly miraculous that we're still together, considering how very different we've grown over the years. We've never been best friends, which may somehow account for the long duration of the friendship, though I know not how. Regi is amazing. She's incredibly funny, in an extremely cute goonish way. She's a steadfast friend - only recently have I learned how much I can really trust her. She somehow manages to be endearing and nerdish and goofy and cute and insightful and sexy and kind and loving, without attracting me romantically - and I love her all the more for that.
And I love my Oasians, too. Some more than others, I'll admit - I'm not blessed with Flyby's power to hold everyone as a best friend. But even though there are those whom I have not yet gotten to know well enough, or toward whom I have not yet experienced what I could (with my overcautious use of the word) call love, I like everyone here, I care about everyone here, I'm fond of everyone here. And I count each and every one of you as a friend.

But seriously, MacAvity, I think that you and Eli are tied for the position of Best Friend with Jayjay in my mind, and I've never even really met either of you.

Well first I gotta say
Well first I gotta say thanks (^_^) Flyby. I really try to get my feelings on to the page without running to much interference.
So online frends... well one is Medonja from http://en11.grepolis.com I sorta have an enemy turned friend thing going on there, and then there's every one on Oasis cause I like to think of you all as my friends, that and (-_-) I'm not very good at remembering names and I don't want to offend anyone by forgetting them.
So moving on to offline friends, there's three of note that I'm going to tell you about.
1. ARedHead- To my eternal shame I never noticed her last year (2009) and as it turns out I was always borrowing pencils from her last year (2009). Well she is currently my best friend and I gotta say her best quality is... well just the way she is. She has this positive attitude that she tries to spread around, and she has this way of listening to you that shows she actually cares.
2. DepressingHoodie- Ok, lets see, what I can say about him. He and I have been friends for a pretty long time (probably since 3rd/4th grade) well I guess saying friends would be stretching it but I like him and (when I try) I like to talk to him and try to get him out of the depressing stuff.
3.WhiteHairedSG- So this guy is my newest friend, he takes a few of my classes and he's a good friend. We help each other out when the other needs it, partner up in class things, tell jokes, and we just get along together pretty well.
So thats pretty much all I gota say on the subject of friends.

On a more serious note, I've made a bunch of really good friends during my time on the internet. Some of them have disappeared off the face of the internet. Some of them, I still talk to. I don't know if it would really be fair to pick a "best" one since they've all been from different times in my life, but you're without a doubt in the top 5. Thanks for talking to me every day and listening to my FCG ramblings and various rants. I also love our epic Pokemon battles when my wifi doesn't shhit itself. XD
If I mentioned all of my online friends from every website, or even just from Oasis, this comment would be like, a mile long. But I love you guys!
As for offline friends, I really have a lot I could talk about. I guess I should start with my two friends who are quite a bit older than me. They're both around 20 now, and I don't see or talk to them very much at all anymore because they're in college, have jobs, and are either married or getting married. When I met them, I was in the 7th grade, and they were juniors in high school. (I find it pretty crazy to think that now I'm almost the age they were when I met them because they seemed soooo old.) For some unfathomable reason, they were outcasts in high school, which somehow prompted them to hang out with 7th and 8th graders. We had a nice little group: me, two girls and a guy in the grade above me, them, and a foreign exchange student from some Eastern European country. I was a little doucheebag in 7th grade, and they helped me grow out if it. I think that without them I'd have remained a little doucheebag for who knows how much longer. They're the only two from that group that I still have any contact at all with... I love them, and I kind of teared up while typing this because I don't get to see them anymore.
I guess those two would be the most influential. I have way more friends now than I ever have before, though, and I love all of them. I love my Asian lunch crew, even though I don't talk to or sit with them as much anymore. I also have Helpful Junior and her British frenemy, along with all my other 11th grade friends, but those two are the ones I talk to the most. I have two people I'd consider best friends: one's a guy who moved away, and one's a girl that still goes to my school. I dunno what I'd do without them. And I also can't forget my whole French class! I'm friends with all of them now, even IG. But of course I have a favorite person in there that I'm very glad I can call my friend this year... <3
