Hey people...

You may have noticed that I'm not around much, and when I am it is mainly for some background task like deleting spam, etc.

Lots going on, which you can read here if you're so inclined.

I caught some glimpses of conversations about Oasis and popularity contests and not as many people online anymore, etc.

I'm pretty confident in saying the site is always in flux. This especially happens around the academic calendar. So, with most people just starting back up at school, people may not have time to be online as much. We also lose people based on the academic calendar. Some people only post on break, some only post when they're in school.

Even when there's a downturn, it doesn't matter too much. The important thing is not to question what is going on, but to make sure all of the new members are given the experience you are questioning, rather than spending your time wondering where it went. Once the semester kicks in, the amount of people posting will likely increase again. It may not be the same people, but this site does sort of have an expiration date.

When you sort of start living your life openly, with less doubt and more joy, I'm totally cool if you don't come here as much. But for the people who do that, our goal isn't to question why they left, but to treat each other with kindness, compassion, and support until each and every one here makes the same journey.

That said, I am planning to tweak the site this summer to make it harder to leave, heh.

I wish I could be here more often, but this site isn't really about the adults. It is peer support. So, elph and I may sprinkle comments here and there, but perspective and such isn't always as important as someone your age saying "that suxxx... hugggzzzzz"

I have to say, though, I do feel inappropriate comments and such are lacking without me, and ya'll can get a bit too serious sometimes. Lighten up. For a sexuality site, a lot of you spend too much time in the wrong head (add some female-appropriate reference in here, as well). ;-)

Just comment on people's posts, help each other, and create the compassion here that you aren't finding elsewhere. There isn't a certain amount of users needed to do that.
