I guess I haven't actually been away that long but it feels like FOREVER!Nothing even has really happened, since it's the winter hols. I haven't seen a single person from my school in like 2 weeks. I've pretty much just been sitting in my house drawing and doing an insane amount of AP American History homework and watching Les Chansons d'Amour. I really do love that movie.
It's sad and beautiful and funny, and very real I think. It stays away from so many of the cliches that could be wound into that plot and on top of it all the music is so beautiful to listen to. The actors are very talented vocalists.

Oh, a funny story! My dad was talking about how Julian Assange is apparently being held in the same cell that Oscar Wilde was held in. My sister asked who Oscar Wilde was, so I proceeded to explain who he was and whay he was in prison and why he was important. At the end of my whole big schpiel, she asks "Why would he think anyone would read what he wrote? He was gay!"
It was truly awful, I had to laugh though, and inform her that she'll probably have to read something he's written eventually during her remaining years of English. pfffft, what ignorance.

Speaking of reading, I've also started reading another Harry Potter fic entitled Stealing Harry. It's AU and usually AU gives me ulcers because they are so bad but this one is quite good, because the characterizations are very well done. http://copperbadge.fanficauthors.net/Stealing_Harry/index/
