A New Gender! (uh...)
My 10-year-old brother has officially decided that he is not male or female, but a gajindiak. According to him, this is another gender that can be attracted to males, females, and other gajindiaks. You can't (easily) tell when someone is a gajindiak, they can look like either a guy or girl. A gajindiak sometimes can act either girly or boyish, but generally not to one extreme. My little brother obviously has no idea what it is he just randomly thought up, he isn't at an age where he's attracted to anybody. According to his definition, I am definitely a gajindiak. I have not told him this. He, I mean, gaj, doesn't seem to realize that might not be something he wants to say to everyone. All his stuffed animals and virtual pets or whatever without being male or female specifically are all gajindiaks now. I find it crazy that the wacko 5th grader who independently thought of this has a gajindiak sister. Or is there a different term for a gajindiak sibling? Where did the word 'gajindiak' come from, anyway? I have a weird brother.

He doesn't really make any sense, but it's still rather funny... apparently what makes someone a gajindiak is the genders of their nostrils or something like that, too. How confusing.

He totally made it up, that's what I like about it! And this is how the nostril thing works, I think:
If you have 2 male nostrils, you're a guy.
2 female nostrils, you're a girl.
1 of each, you're a gajindiak, and you look like whichever nostril goes with your dominant hand side.
So I guess I'm basically mixed both nostrils, because I'm mixed-handed. Wow.
And I never heard that fact before. I tried to get my aunt to do that to my cousin, the 2nd boy... I was 8, and it made sense at the time. He does look kinda like a girl, though. I wonder if his nostrils are male or female.

:) I see what you mean... If you're a right-handed female-bodied gajindiak, you have a right female nostril and a left male nostril, I guess... I don't think my 10 YEAR OLD brother was thinking about male or female nostrils quite that way...

Yeah, I know what you mean.
Also, I asked him about the ambidextrous thing,he (I mean gaj) said that you still have one of each and the gender you appear to be is random. There isn't any way to tell which nostril is which on an ambidextrous or mixed-handed gajindiak.

Good luck, I can't really think of anything else to say... Wouldn't it be funny if they told you you were a gajindiak? Sorry, I'm still laughing at that... but I don't think anyone ever has to belong to a specific gender. I think it's just another stupid way humans classify themselves, and there isn't really any reason to it. Everyone can be their own gender if they want. My gender, I guess, is gajindiak, or whatever. Your gender is you and there isn't any specific way to define it. :) Just my unconventional opinion.
