i don't mean to sound emo
i just don't understand love. i think i understand it but it still makes no sense, if only i could be happy just the way things are. i'm not really capable of loving another person, i would be a terrible lover. sometimes i question if love even exists. i'll see two people perfectly happy and then they hate each other. i'm very inexperiened. but it just doesn't seem like an emotion that was meant for me. as if being gay wasn't hard enough.

...gotten to know someone that made you feel "I wish we could make each other happy for the rest of our lives"?
Have you never wished that you could become indispensable in fulfilling the emotional needs of another?
Have you never felt so emotionally bound to another that you'd like to embrace that person so firmly that you could imagine your two bodies fusing into one?
None of these experiences by themself defines love... but each is just one of the many ramifications of love. If you've not yet experienced any of these... you've got something great to look forward to.
