CONGRATS on the new iPad!

Hahaa Oasis always look good everywhere! :)

I went to an Apple store to check out the iPad the other day too. Did you happen to find it hard to type on? Especially when using both hands? Just wondering...

At the end of the day, what matters is not what you have, but who you have become.

Well...

I've only typed on it one handed so far. (LET ME EXPLAIN!)

I'm usually holding the iPad with my other hand. (See!)

I did get the case, though, so at some point, I'll get it angled properly and out of my hands and see what I think.

There will be a lot of iPad testing on my Maui trip, I'm sure.

Safari 5.0 Installed?

I'd bet that the newly added "reader" function on Safari 5.0 looks truly great on the iPad!

Hmm...

It has Safari, but being an iPad, there are no pull-down menus with an "About" or somesuch, so it has whatever version Apple has determined I need. ;-)

So...

If you are reading a news article (say, from NYT), do you see "Reader" at the extreme right side of the URL? If so, click on it and the article will be converted to look like it would in PDF or Kindle e-book. At least... this is what is available on an iMac with Safari 5.0... One neat feature is that if the article is covered over multiple pages, the "Reader" opens all of them!

Nope...

There's no reader on iPad. Although that's probably redundant with getting the NY Times iPad app when it comes out. Right now, they have Editor's Choice, which is the top stories in each section, but not the whole newspaper yet.

Just wondering, what about

Just wondering, what about the speed? is it too slow to use or is it ok?
