This happens when...
...a preceding poster forgets to type the HTML tag to close italics.
A lot of the time...
People put a BIG chunk of their journal in italics, and then when we snip it to put only a bit on the front page, it also italicizes the site. I just have to go in and remove the italics, usually.
But that wouldn't be the case here, since it wouldn't be in italics as you were writing, only after you submitted it.
