We got more snow today! This morning & afternoon. I've been running on 4 hours sleep since this morning, with a short power nap, but I have one of those intemittent sleep deprived headaches. My school was canceled today, :) so I can home for lunch and watched my Buffy dvd's, season 4. Willow is awesome! ;) And cute.
Ahh...so friggin tired, but I'm not ready to go to sleep yet, too early for me. I guess I'm going to go read now. I'm reading A Tree Grows In Brooklyn by Betty Smith, it's great so far. I wonder what it was like for LGBT people back then, I mean I know it was hard for the poor, immigrants, and girls, but imagine if you were a poor child of immigrant parents and an LGBT girl? Francie in the book isn't LGBT, but I just wondered.
Oh I was going to ask if anyone could tell me some human/civil rights and/or social justice organizations? I'm trying to find potential internships for my gap year, so far my possibilities are: Amnesty International, ACLU, WITNESS, and maybe Lambda? Not sure about that one, need to look into it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
