so when i was little, i was afraid the el chupa cabra was gonna get me. so the way my bed is, i had to sleep on my right side to wacth the door(like a 7 year old could do anything besides panic). ever since i got over that i sleep on my left side, because its like my right side is related with all that fear

I never really liked sleeping on my sides. When I had scoliosis, I knew that even if it didn't make it worse, it certainly couldn't help.
I don't have scoliosis anymore, but I still avoid my sides quite a bit.
It depends on the situation.
Winter: Sides. I'm cold and I curl up into a ball. Usually my left side, to avoid the glare from my night light.
Late Winter, Spring, Early Summer, and Fall: Most of the year, I sleep on mah tummy. Just most comfortable.
Summer: My back. Usually wearing next to nothing, staring at the ceiling, wondering how hot it is.

I pretty much always sleep on my stomach. It's just so comfortable, although it's supposed to be bad for your face/wrinkles, like I give a crap about that, lol. I just want to sleep!
I don't understand how people can fall asleep on their back. It's so uncomfortable to me.
I kinda don't? D: The only way I can fall asleep is on my back, really... but everytime I sleep on my back and I'm stressed it leads to sleep paralysis... >_> :<

Just take it easy and keep breathing, one step at a time. :)
