The chances are very good that you will become much more comfortable with your choice after actually getting into the meat.
If you find after a term or so that you truly regret this path... you should change. This would likely result in the loss of some graduation credits... but this would be a small price to pay. It is far more important that you have a passion for your studies and future career!
