So yeah I just discovered Brian Eno on itunes the other day. I bought the Apollo album and I love it, I've already listened to it all the way through several times. It's described as the perfect Ambiance music, and it is. Another band I found a few weeks back is White Lies, and I bought the album To Lose My Life impulsively after listening to the clips. I wonder how I could only just be finding out about these bands. Ehh, at least I did find them.
Oh! I may hang out with the friend I just came out to again this Friday, not sure yet, but hopefully, we'll see.
I'm planning on FINALLY finally finally going to my first PFLAG meeting on Sunday. However I absolutely must obtain precise directions and landmarks, because I don't want to get lost on the way there, AGAIN. :-/
Random tidbit here...today I thought about how cool it would be if there were LGBT libraries. I mean the two libraries near me have next to zero LGBT books. Not to mention that they both need to seriously beef up their general selection. But wouldn't it be cool to have a library just for LGBT? LGBT books, magazines, periodicals, movies, etc. They could have gay book clubs and writing groups and the whole library would be a safe place. I also think it'd be cool to have an LGBT Museum. Do they exist anywhere? I think that would be great to have a museum dedicated to LGBT history and culture.

Brian Eno is a genius!! I discovered him through this film that makes everybody cry like a baby- exactly when they play one of his songs (By this River). I've loved him ever since. Is the Apollo album on iTunes? I can't find it... Thanks!

Yeah
the Apollo album is on iTunes. Just search Brian Eno and it comes up. I'll have to look up that movie. I just saw the Lovely Bones and I went on a google hunt to find out who did the music and Brian Eno's name came up. His music seems so versatile and fitting for absolutely everything.
There was a place in DC
There was a place in DC called Lamda Rising, which was a book store, but they just closed :( If they made that place a library it would have been awesome. They had a huge selection of books, as well as movies, magazines, and rainbow stuff.
A library of LGBT...
For us fags, by us fags.
