Unreasonable mom

I just left the bag of tortilla chips open, which my mom had told me not to do, and so she took all my money, and smacked me in the head a few times.
70$, or somesuch.

She does this too often.

Well congratulations, mom, now you've taken my money.
Well what am I going to use it for? Candy on road trips?

The only thing that worries me is that if she does this when I get a car, I will be severely hampered.

I don't think unreasonable mom is a good canidate for coming out to.

i do indeed feel your pain.
i just asked my mother this morning what she thought about me joining an online support group (like oasis) and she said no, until my shrink could convince her otherwise.
mothers. although i've come out to mine, she's still shaky. but be brave, chad. :)

So... you must be extremely strong willed: You truly can't envisage the day that you will accede to her wish and actually close a bag of tortilla chips when you're finished? :-)

Hmm...

I can see that she doesn't like stale chips, but seems like she could resolve that issue with $5.
