My parents just ended up divorcing, and not talking at all. Makes things . . . weird. I suspect weddings will be very strained. Not that the great old US of A yould allow me to ever get married, and my personal beliefs would not support me doing so anyway, but still. Merry christmas.

I'm sorry to hear that ferrets. I used to have to deal with that a lot, ESPECIALLY around Christmas. Still do, just not as much. The holidays are probably getting to your parents and stressing them out. I know with my parents when they were fighting around this time, or really any other, it was about money. I hope things get better, buddy :)
