It's been awhile Oasis. I pop by occasionally, but I seem to be avoiding this place. Don't ask me why.

Christmas was good. Though my brother rudely interrupted my sleeping in before we could even open anything, because my sister and her husband weren't at the house yet.

-A bunch of books, 2 photography books/textbooks, Derby Girl, Nelson Mandela Autobiography, The Road, An Off Year, Zeitoun, The Complete Guide to Gap Years
-An old manual film camera w/extra lens & a camera bag

Now I'm stressing about college applications. I know others are in the same boat as me, but just be grateful that you don't have to fill out a Home School Supplement and all those forms that your guidance counselors fill out or type up your own entire high school transcript. I must be crazy to try and finish this all by January 1st.

I'm excited about this queer youth group that's starting up sometime in January near me. I've finally put my mental foot down and decided I'm going no matter what. I'll just have to come up with a plausible excuse for my whereabouts...And I'm going to make it my new year's resolution to actually have fun this coming year. I mean I'm starting my last semester of high school, I want to have some good memories from it. Now I just have to figure out how...Happy Early New Year's Oasis!
