to all the veterans, I salute you for your (albeit somewhat misguided) pursuit of protecting your country.
to all the current soldiers, I salute you for the same thing, even if your government insists on throwing you down the pit like broken toys and you probably don't even know what it really means to protect your country anymore.
to the gov't. well....fuck you.

I am thankful to the veterans.
I am thankful to the veterans wholeheartedly for going and fighting and dying for their country. However, I hate when people say that they're dying to defend us. WTF?!!! I've never been hurt by someone from Iraq or Afghanistan, have you?
The soldiers are fighting for the right reasons, to serve their country, but their country is fighting for the wrong reason.
