I think I've found what I'm asking for this Christmas!! Dragon Age: Origins! A role playing game. Has anyone played it? I've been reading about it and watching some videos online for the past hour and it looks and sounds really, really good. Good storyline and you get to make choices like in Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls/Fallout 3. Also, I've heard that it has romances too. And, get this, you can have gay and lesbian romances!! That pretty much sealed the deal for me. Eeee!! I'm actually really excited to play it. Although, I'm not sure I can wait till December 25th, assuming someone is nice and buys it for me :D
This has made up for the UBER crappy day I had. So, thank goodness for that.

I've never played that line
I've never played that line of games before, however you did get me with the words, "gaming" and "role playing game"! taha! See, I'm a huge final fantasy fan, and I too am waiting for a release date!! ffxiii doesn't come out till march 8thish though, and in addition, I have to buy a ps3 to play it... which I totally am gonna do!! in anticipate of ffxiii I started playing ffxii again lol! oh good times ahead! I know how you feel!

I gave in and bought it because it was on sale the other week. And I'm not dissapointed at all. It's the first Dragon Age they've made and it's really good. The graphics could be better, in the Xbox 360 version anyways, but the storyline and voice acting and everything is really solid. Also, there's a ton of choices you get to make. It's made my the company that did Mass Effect (pretty good!), Baulder's Gate(sp?), and Knights of the Old Republic.
And I love RPGs and fantasy games, they're my favourite. I haven't played the Final Fantasy games much though, I'm a Nintendo and Xbox fan. Sorry! Hehe, but the graphics always look fantastic in those games.
You should beg everyone to chip in and get you a PS3 for Christmas....if you celebrate. Or whatever you do celebrate...or maybe for your Birthday. Haha.

Mmm, me and my brother might buy one together and split the cost! All I know is that I WILL have a ps3 for when ffxiii comes out =D !! and yes. the graphics are always a crowd pleaser lol
All those other games sound so, so good! I bet they're probably even better than ff games in many different ways. Problem is, there's no way I could afford to put so much time into all of them!! I in my perfect dream world I could lol oh the possibilities!!!
