So, I feel like shit right now.

I didn't get the swine flu, but my mom brought home some medicine for everyone (except my sister because she's under 12) to take in order to prevent us from getting it. Mine made me sick, but I can't not take it. I'm dizzy, and I came home right before French (NOOO! I missed the stupid!) class today because I had a massive stomachache. Now I'm just dizzy, and she won't STFU about her freaking camera issues... I can't think to help her fix them right now.

I freaked out about my geometry test, which was today. I didn't take it, though; I left before my 3rd class, and geometry is 5th. At least I have the weekend to study now, but I'll have to stay after school one day this week and take it. Blah. Fuck you, geometry. Nobody likes you.

Agreed.

Geometry needs to go die somewhere...

I've never met anyone that

I've never met anyone that actually liked geometry.

Geometry...

Killed them all.
He would rather be feared than loved. Lol.

Oh really?

I loved that class, it was so easy. One of the units was so easy that I got the homework for the whole unit done on the first day of the unit, and completely blew off the class and read a book under my desk the whole time.

Wow. D:

Can we trade brains? I need some math skills.

Geometry is something you DO

Geometry is something you DO NOT WANT. Trust me, I'd rather be in algebra any day, and I hated algebra.

I liked geometry in Math II

I liked geometry in Math II and Math III. It was easy then. We started with plane shapes, then worked up into spaces shapes. That consisted of a few theroms and the definitions of prisms, quadrilaterals, etc.

Then came Advanced Math and I hit a solid, lead wall. The geometry unit in that was on my least favorite thing in the world: proofs. I think I got an 82 on that unit test (I'm used to squigglies above an A- for math). Luckily there was a trig and algebra unit mixed in there, so I got like a 94 over all for class.

But guess what! I don't have to deal with proofs for the rest of highschool! I don't even have a math class right now! That's next semester, with precalc (my school does block-scheduling, with quarter and semester classes).

But, if it's any consolation, I feel your pain.

I'm just bad at math in

I'm just bad at math in general, really. I've had a bad teacher for the past couple of years, so that's seriously affected my mathematic abilities. My teacher this year isn't so great, either... I ended up with an 82 at some point last year, which was the lowest grade I ever made in any class. Somehow, I have a 92 in geometry right now, despite being a complete and total incompetent fool when it comes to math. :D

You can't be a TOTAl

You can't be a TOTAl incompetent fool when it comes to math if you're able to keep a 92.

My lowest grade was an 84 in French. I got a 65 on my final exam for that class... BUT! The teacher took pity on me (he was a jackass to me throughout, so I think he felt sorry) and didn't factor it in. So my final grade was a 92. ; ]

Hehe, I wish about the brain trading.

The world seems convinced that I need to be an engineer now. Except, I do kind of like it sometimes. It results in math tests being an incredibly relaxing experience... and I don't even learn half of the stuff until I am actually taking the test.

As for the proofs, I used to have trouble with those, but it really just like an analytical essay with math terms. And if you use the web proofs it is entertaining because you get to make little web charts.
