Well, I'm completely new at this, but I feel like I need to get it out somehow. I'm starting my freshman year of college this coming August and I'm confused. I just think life would be so much easier if I were straight, but I think I'm a lesbian. For the past few months, I've felt myself being attracted to women and I have these feelings I can't explain. I can't talk about it - my friends are pretty accepting of my liberal views and they aren't judgmental, but they're conservative and I don't want to rock the boat before I leave for college. I just wish I could figure all of this out. Plus, if I am a lesbian, I'm worried about what I'll do in college. I don't think I'll be able to tell if someone is lesbian and I don't think I'll be able to put myself out there. Anyway, I just needed to get it out.
