Characters that should've been gay
What characters in movies, TV, books, ect....do you think should've been gay, lesbian, bisexual?
You know when you watch a movie or whatever and you think "oh, she was totally gay" but in the movie you never actually see her get together with a girl? The character just sets off your gaydar. Okay....maybe I'm alone on this but I think there have been a few.
A couple that I think should've been gay:
Idgie and freaking Ruth from Fried Green Tomatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both in the book and movie. They were totally in love!!

Lets see? .... FAITH from Buffy the Vampire Slayer!! There is hella Buffy/Faith subtext in the third season. And maybe Kennedy/Faith would be interesting... although they are both strongish types. And I have seen some wicked Tara/Faith fics.
Also, Anya from BTVS, she has that man hating thing going.. although her relationship with Xander was brilliant, so I wouldn't want to let that go.
Oh well, I would mention Willow/Tara and Kennedy... except that they ARE gay.
Oh yeah, and Andrew is definitely GAY for Warren... why do you think he joined the trio that was the big bad of season 6.
Oh!! And best of all, not to mention most famous (can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet... SHAME ON YOU ALL) XENA FUCKING GABRIELLE. Oh my god the most obvious thing ever... although, it was written that way for the most part. This pairing pioneered the fanfictionverse like no other. It is like the Kirk/Spock of Femslash... come on people! And you all are trying to make people in twilight gay... learn some fandom history. Xena/Gabby is the reason there are gay characters on television today..
And not to mention Buffy aired the first lesbian sex scene on network television. Historic much!!
Anyway, best freaking shows ever. and GAYEST.

I was also the Pink Power Ranger one Halloween. I may still have that costume somewhere. But I was obsessed with the Power Rangers, I had the movies, watched the show, and had the action figures. :)
Degrassi
The girl who plays football in Degrassi. I think her name was Jane? I haven't been keeping up with the show so I'm not sure. The very first episode she was in I thought YES! She could totally be gay. She just had that vibe and look. And yeah, Degrassi hasn't made her queer yet, that I know of. But there's still hope ;) Degrassi writers make it happen! And if you do I will return to watch the show again AND I will somewhat forgive you for kicking Alex off in such a crappy way. Peace.

I haven't been watching it either for the same reason. Once most of the original cast left I stopped watching. I gave the new cast a chance but I don't like most of them. If there's nothing to watch and an episode happens to be on I try to watch it but I find it really hard to watch now.

Olivia and Viola (in She's The Man) should have ended up together. It was such a rip that Olivia who was totally head-over-heels for Viola (albeit while she was pretending to be Sebastian) would automatically be okay with being with the REAL Sebastian. I mean, come on! She fell in love with VIOLA! But just cause he's a guy she'd totally be into him. It's just silly. And I think Duke should've been gay or maybe just bi...I don't think he was a full blown heterosexual.
I think Olivia and Viola would be cute together. The interaction when they first bump into each other felt like sparks to me :)

Considering that She's The Man was inspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night...yeah. For one, Duke (Orsino) was completely in love with Cesario (Viola in masculine usurped attire, in the movie they called him/her Sebastian the same as her brother) even though he thought he was a boy... For another, yeah, Olivia fell for Cesario because Cesario was a girl but not obviously so, so yes, the Olivia and Sebastian relationship is doomed because Sebastian really is a man... Viola probably would have been better off with Olivia, too, but whatever... And of course Antonio (I'm not sure the movie has an equivalent character?) doesn't even try to hide his feelings for Sebastian. Stupid oblivious Sebastian.

I've always kinda seen the lion as asexual. He was an animal so I just didn't see him as any particular sexuality. Though, I guess he is basically a stereotype of a gay guy. Still, I just see him as an animal.
The tin man just exudes gayness to me. Especially with the way he talks and sounds.

from the movie Four Brothers should have been gay. I read an interview with the movie cast and Garrett Hedlund, who played Jack, said there was some ambiguity about that, but they didn't go into it. He was my favorite character.
