My Gayness is Being Thwarted
Okay, so it's the Gay Pride Parade tomorrow, and I'm going with my church and my mom to march in the parade. But my friend (he's bi) backed out at the last minute, so yeah, pissed. Now I'll probably have to be escorted by my mom to the youth booths. Oh well. Plus, I wanted to go to the library to get "But I'm a Cheerleader" and "The Celluloid Closet." But, damn, the library is closed when I get there. Oh well. I'll be gayer tomorrow :)

Have fun at the parade and tell us all the fun about it! Ours is next week, can't wait! Wait, your church is actually coming? They support gay marriage? Really? I'm surprised. But glad to hear some christians are open-minded, luck to you! =)

Yeah! You will so be hearing from me :) Yeah, my church rocks. Our ex-pastor (they switch pastors out regularly) is being put on church-trial (that's not the term, I know, but it's the best way to describe it) for marrying a gay couple in church, so I guess you could say we walk the talk :)
I pirated the Celluloid
I pirated the Celluloid closet, but that was because it's not a very popular film, and thus does not exist in Vermont. Although, a week after I watched it, they had a showing of it on LOGO. Go figure.
Anyway! My favorite part of the film was when they talked about how the Catholic Church created a rating system for films. It was ranked via the system "ABC". A was "acceptable", B was "morally questionable", and C was "condemned".
But the thing that made me kind of laugh awkwardly was that in the "C" category, the general themes that were condemned included something called "white slavery".

Yeah, I just went it and it was awesome :) Except they had advertised a youth area (seperate from the kid area), and they had it on the map and everything, but then when I got there, they didn't have it! :(
