Wow it's been a while. I just got back from Arkansas where I visited all of my relatives. They live in the middle of nowhere in the Ozark Mountains. It's almost tropical there! It's like a jungle with cougars, bears, cyotes, snakes, tons and tons of bugs. Anyways we did a lot of fun things like floating down the elk river, fireworks, eureka spring, but also a lot of weird stuff. We went on a scavenger hunt for old outhouses and wound up finding dozens scattered in the mountains. We found a dead monkey in one!!!!! We also went to about every cemetary in North West AR to look for a date in the 1700's. And arrowhead hunting cause we are Cherokee. We also had to take my grandma to radiation lots of days.
We also met a lot of scary people. My aunt just got out of prison for drugs (she's off them now and amazing :) but other people around there are all addicted to meth. One of my mom's old frieds came up to my grandparents house late a night and she was crazy. She kept swearing and saying she was going to kill her husband. She kept spitting her food in and out of her mouth and almost breaking down in tears. The sad thing is she has three kids! she let us know that the men around there drag them around by the hair. And they have a horse living in their house which is basically a dump. It made me sick. I wanted to take those kids away :(
