in other news....i'm so ready to be out of here!!! gaaaaah! i've got my books packed, and have plans for everything else i'm taking. two checked bags (maybe just one, depending on how much i manage to fit into it), my briefcase w/laptop, my backpack with odds and ends (both to be carried with me on the plane), and a box with books and a few other odds and ends.

i'll probably have the box shipped to me, possibly even mailed by my parents. hmm....

now i'm on UPS's website, trying to calculate how much it'll cost me to ship the damn thing. and how long it'll take to get there. if it's not too expensive, i might be REALLY extravigant, and ship TWO boxes!! lol not of books, but of other nicknacks i'd originally planned on having in my bags.

in other news.....not to totally raise eyebrows concidering how i started this journal, but have i mentioned recently that i'm dating the most gorgeous girl in the world?? Oh. My. God. she's....beautiful. just beautiful. :D and sexy as hell!

SERIOUSLY. she's amazing. :D i love her to bits! i'm so excited about moving, about GOING already. i'm so, SO ready to be gone.

soon, bulldyke, soon. *sigh* getting my money HOPEFULLY tomorrow, then i just have to figure out how the hell to get a certified copy of my passport made, and if i need to get the damn thing renewed (does anyone know about this? i saw something that said that passport laws are changing, and everyone has to get theirs renewed, or something confusing like that...). then i can apply for my visa, which looks rather ridiculously easy, actually. :D YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
