Amo Te

amo te

te amo
you're beautiful
i whisper
i touch the screen
touch your face
facsimile thereof
but i touch you
with my mind
my heart
my soul
please love me

days pass by
in a green-blue haze
running this way
and that
stand still
listen
i swear
i can hear
your heartbeat

i'm afraid
i'm sure
i'm not
i am
i love
i can't
i will
i'm scared

hold me
let me
hold you
i'd let you
in
if only
you knew
if only
i didn't
fear

i will
i know
i long
for you
you
and
only
you
are the
one

i
love you
you
love me
what else
is there
to say?

Hmm...

Doesn't rhyme.

lol. thought the same thing.

lol. thought the same thing. most of my other thoughts were: "ooh, how sweet!" and "my foot hurts" and "tappy sound!!! where!?!" (probably cuz i forgot to take my meds for the 2nd day in a row >.<)

Cluny: "[mocking tone] Oh my! Are you scared?"
Cornflower: "Yes... but I'll get over it. *You* are ugly, and there's no cure for that."

Not really, but there's more

Not really, but there's more to the art of poetry than a rhyme. I admire those with the ability to put their thoughts and emotions down in a way that shows some semblance of the true intent. I love complete openness, with all vulnerability exposed. Good luck you two!

Hmm...

OK, but when you read:

"i
love you
you
love me"

Anyone who's ever seen Barney knows you can EASILY make that rhyme.

you know jeff, there are

you know jeff, there are people who can help you with these suicidal tendencies. :P

and, while i'm certian you already know this, but the point wasn't to rhyme. if it was, i wouldn't have written it.

what is it with people who insist that poetry must rhyme?? they're idiots.

hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour
