Am I A "Bad" Lesbian?
i love melissa...i adore the indigo girls...don't get me started on kd lang....and rachel gives me the giggles.
but i just can't get behind ellen! i really just...don't like her! i don't like her humor, i don't get excited about her and her wife (and was actually forced to watch their wedding thing by a friend...guh), she just...doesn't do anything for me!
i mean, i'm totally supportive of the whole "out and proud lesbian makes the big time" but...i really don't like her.
am i a bad lesbian? :P

she wasn't out and proud before she made the big time. well she was, but not to the world. just her friends and stuff and people in the industry just sort of knew and accepted. but she officially 'came out' to america in that one episode of her sitcom. yep.

Personally, I find Ellen to be annoying.
Her humor isn't so much over the top as it is totally off the mark. I can see why some people find her funny though, I just think that she tries too hard.
Some of her old stand-up is really funny though, but I think that the humor on her talk show is kind of phoned in.
I love what she does for LGBT awareness though. She's sort of the lesbian poster girl for mainstream America. I mean, without Ellen who would we have? Tila Tequila?
But don't fret. I'm a pretty terrible lesbian too. I mean, I'm a gay man so I guess that makes me a bad lesbian.
